HoriziQ is an online learning and exam preparation platform that provides students with access to practice tests, mock examinations, performance analytics, study notes, and related educational tools. The Platform is owned and operated by Horiziq Corp, a firm registered under the laws of India, with its principal place of business at Horiziq Corp, No 6 Tubewell Lane, Shankerpur Hakumarpur, Dist. Dehradun, Uttarakhand – 248197

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Platform and all content, features, and services made available through it. By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms along with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated herein by reference.

The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. By accessing or registering on the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to access or use the Platform in any manner.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 18. Since we do not currently employ automated age verification, we rely on users to provide accurate information at the time of registration. Where we become aware that a registered user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate such account without prior notice, and such termination shall not give rise to any liability or refund obligation.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child under the age of 18 has registered on the Platform or provided personal information without your consent, please contact us immediately at grievance@horiziq.com. We will take prompt steps to verify the concern and delete such information without delay.

HoriziQ reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to terminate accounts found to be in violation of these requirements.

To access certain features of the Platform, you are required to create a user account. You agree to: provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration; maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and not share them with any third party; notify HoriziQ immediately at help@horiziq.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account; and accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

Each user is permitted to hold only one active account. Creating duplicate or fraudulent accounts is strictly prohibited. HoriziQ reserves the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts found to be in breach of this provision without prior notice.

You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your account. HoriziQ shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your credentials.

HoriziQ provides, among other things, the following services through the Platform: chapter-wise and full-length mock tests aligned with major examination syllabi; performance analytics, Readiness Score, and test subject-wise progress tracking; curated study notes and solved examples.

The availability of specific features may vary based on the subscription plan selected by the user. HoriziQ reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time, with or without notice, and shall not be liable for any such changes.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial educational purposes. You must not: copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content from the Platform without prior written consent from HoriziQ; use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or scripts to access or extract content from the Platform; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Platform’s software or infrastructure; upload, share, or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, illegal, or harmful to others; impersonate any individual, institution, or entity; use the Platform to conduct any commercial activity without HoriziQ’s express written authorisation; or engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform’s functionality or security.

Any violation of this clause may result in immediate account suspension or termination, and HoriziQ reserves the right to pursue legal action where warranted.

All content available on the Platform — including but not limited to text, questions, solutions, images, videos, graphics, user interface design, logos, trademarks, and software code — is the exclusive intellectual property of HoriziQ or its licensed content providers, and is protected under applicable Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform content solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This licence does not permit you to: reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content in any medium; create derivative works based on Platform content; or use any content for commercial purposes without HoriziQ’s express written permission.

Any unauthorised use of the Platform’s intellectual property constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may give rise to civil and criminal liability under applicable law.

Certain features and content on the Platform are available only through paid subscription plans. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following: all prices listed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; payment must be made through the approved payment methods available on the Platform at the time of purchase; subscriptions are activated immediately upon successful payment and are valid for the duration specified at the time of purchase; HoriziQ reserves the right to revise subscription pricing at any time; existing subscribers will be notified of any changes prior to their next renewal cycle.

HoriziQ uses third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. By completing a payment, you also agree to the terms and conditions of the relevant payment gateway. HoriziQ does not store any card or sensitive payment information on its servers.

Refunds, where applicable, are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and is available on the Platform at www.horiziq.com/refund-policy. By purchasing a subscription or any paid service on the Platform, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

In general, subscription fees are non-refundable once the subscription period has commenced, except where required by applicable law or as expressly stated in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. HoriziQ reserves the right to modify its refund terms at any time, with prior notice to existing subscribers.

The HoriziQ Readiness Score and all related performance analytics, progress reports, and subject-level insights are generated algorithmically based on a user’s activity within the Platform. These tools are intended exclusively as self-assessment references to assist learners in identifying gaps and tracking improvement over time.

The Readiness Score and any analytics provided by HoriziQ must not be construed as a predictor, guarantee, or indicator of success or failure in any official examination, entrance test, or certification conducted by any external board, university, or authority.

HoriziQ makes no representation that any score, metric, or recommendation generated on the Platform correlates with marks, percentile, or rank in any official assessment. Users must exercise independent judgement and are encouraged to supplement their preparation with official study resources and guidance.

Where the Platform permits users to submit content — including forum posts, comments, feedback, or doubt queries — you represent that any content you submit is accurate, non-infringing, and does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

By submitting content on the Platform, you grant HoriziQ a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. HoriziQ reserves the right to remove any user-generated content that it deems inappropriate, inaccurate, or in violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

All practice questions, mock test content, answer keys, and study materials available on the Platform are proprietary and confidential to HoriziQ. You agree not to copy, share, screenshot, record, or distribute any such content through any medium — including social media, messaging platforms, or third-party websites — without HoriziQ’s express written consent. Any breach of this obligation may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HoriziQ, its officers, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Platform, including but not limited to: loss of data, profits, or academic opportunity; interruptions to Platform availability or service; errors or inaccuracies in content; or any outcome in an official examination or assessment.

In any event, HoriziQ’s total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the subscription in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The Platform may include links to or integrations with third-party websites, payment gateways, analytics providers, or content platforms. HoriziQ does not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and is governed by the terms and privacy policies of those respective third parties.

HoriziQ shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of your interactions with any third-party service accessed through or in connection with the Platform.

HoriziQ reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if: you breach any provision of these Terms; HoriziQ determines, in its sole discretion, that your conduct is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Platform; your account has been inactive for an extended period; or required by applicable law or a government or regulatory authority.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform and all associated content will cease immediately. Termination shall not affect any accrued rights or obligations of either party. You may also request deletion of your account at any time by contacting help@horiziq.com.

HoriziQ is committed to protecting your personal information. The collection, storage, use, and sharing of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and is available on the Platform. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HoriziQ and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: your use of or access to the Platform; your breach of these Terms; any content you submit or transmit through the Platform; or your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

The Platform and all content therein are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. HoriziQ does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Platform entirely at your own risk.

HoriziQ shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government action, internet outages, cyberattacks, or any other event of force majeure. In such events, HoriziQ’s obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the relevant circumstances.

HoriziQ reserves the right to revise, update, or replace these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where changes are material, HoriziQ will endeavour to notify registered users via email or an in-platform notification at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform and may request account deletion.

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, Horiziq Corp has designated a Grievance Officer to address any concerns or complaints regarding the processing of your personal data.

Grievances will be acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 30 days of receipt. For general privacy queries (not formal grievances), we aim to respond within 3–5 business days.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be referred to a Sole Arbitrator and resolved under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Arbitration proceedings shall be conducted in English or Hindi, with the seat of arbitration in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. In the absence of mutual agreement on language, proceedings shall be conducted in English. The Arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.

These terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India.
